                And the whole city sleeping drifts . . .

                like a lost airship

                unconscious

                of the immense mystery

Winter Concert

That—as sweet notes—

the raindrops

improvise

this cold evening.

 

Dazzling

the lights of the shop-windows

as always tell

 their illusory tales.

 

We walk in silence

strangers, distracted

while the city

oddly empty

wraps us up in a damp embrace.
